The organisation
Compost Connect is a not-for-profit platform committed to education, lifting composting rates, and connecting foodservice businesses to commercial composters. The platform works by empowering people to compost – both at an individual and business level.
At a business level, Compost Connect links business owners to organic waste pick-up services. They have 23 compost partners servicing 2,200+ suburbs across Australia and New Zealand. At an individual level, Compost Connect makes it easy for you to find and support businesses that compost, as well as learn more about the composting options available in your area.
The Project
BioPak founded Compost Connect in 2021 to make composting more accessible across Australia and New Zealand. Today, it stands as a brand-agnostic initiative. Yet being BioPak’s go-to copywriter still lends itself to Compost Connect – I’ve helped revise and update messaging, refresh the website, and deliver consumer insight reports.
